Dr. Brett Classen grew up in Minnesota and graduated from Wayzata High School in 2013. As a high school athlete, Dr. Classen went to a chiropractor for the first time for low back pain and saw immediate relief. Not only was his pain gone, but he also saw an increased range of motion in his squat and during rotation. From that point on he realized how beneficial chiropractic was for not only athletes but all walks of life. He continued to see a chiropractor on a regular basis through college, which he feels helped him stay pain and injury-free during his career.
After high school, he attended Winona State University studying movement science and played football. Brett transferred to the University of Nebraska and completed his Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition Science. He was a walk-on wide receiver for the Nebraska Cornhuskers and earned a scholarship.
After graduation, he attended chiropractic college at Cleveland University-Kansas City and graduated Cum Laude as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2021.
While attending chiropractic college, Dr. Classen completed hundreds of hours of seminars including Motion Palpation Institute (MPI) courses, dry needling, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) courses, McKenzie method (MDT) course, FAKTR taping and soft tissue course, and therapeutic exercise/sports performance courses. All of these courses increased his ability to diagnose and treat many different conditions with conservative care.
Dr. Classen is certified in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Functional Movement Screen (FMS), Y Balance Test (YBT), and Pre-Participation Evaluation/Sports Physicals (PPE).
In his free time, Dr. Brett enjoys fly fishing, hiking, reading, working out, and jiu-jitsu.
